• Experience in commercial finance, corporate banking, asset finance, or financial brokerage
• Exposure to SME or corporate lending solutions preferred
• A confident personality and a self-motivated work ethic
• Ability to adopt a proactive approach to driving business and sourcing new opportunities
• A results-focused attitude combined with a commitment to doing what is right, not just what is profitable
• Flawless verbal and written communication skills for structuring complex debt solutions and explaining complete financial solutions clearly to clients
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards

• Client Relationship Management: Build and lead a portfolio of SME and corporate clients, providing strategic financial guidance and long-term support tailored to their growth objectives.
• Origination & Business Development: Drive new business through networking and referrals, engaging C-suite leaders to identify funding needs and expand existing account opportunities.
• Deal Execution: Manage the end-to-end funding process from initial consultation to completion by preparing credit proposals, liaising with lenders and coordinating with underwriting, legal and compliance teams to ensure efficient and successful deal execution.
• Structuring Finance Solutions: Analyse client financial information and structure tailored funding solutions by sourcing and negotiating facilities from a panel of lenders, including asset finance, invoice finance, working capital, trade finance, commercial loans and growth funding.
• Market Insight & Advisory: Monitor lending markets, credit conditions and funding trends in order to provide clients with strategic financial insights and position funding solutions competitively within the marketplace.
• Performance & Targets: Drive revenue growth by originating and closing new transactions, expanding client portfolios, increasing recurring revenue streams and maintaining accurate pipeline management and performance reporting.
